The focus of this session will be on examining our traditional grading practices and how these practices have had a disproportionately negative impact on historically marginalized students. Participants will have an opportunity to explore how teachers are transforming their classrooms to make their grading more equitable through discussions and exploration time. Participants will walk away with ideas and resources for making grading and instruction more motivational, bias-resistant, and accurate.
